Key accomplishments/background
Mike Still is a dedicated supporter of amateur sports, who also loves to write and tell stories through a variety of digital mediums. Following high school, he combined these two passions, obtaining an English degree from the University of Manitoba as well as a Journalism degree from the University of King’s College in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
While at the U of M, Mike – who won a Division 2 championship with Grant Park’s football team in 2011 – covered the Bisons extensively, including the football team’s 2014 Hardy Cup championship as well as men’s basketball’s run to the Final 8 in 2017. Mike has had the opportunity to work for a number of amateur sports organizations over the years, including Football Canada, Football Manitoba and the University of Manitoba Bisons. He’s also the play-by-play voice of the Bisons football team and runs his own website called Manitoba Football Feed, which covers all levels of amateur football in the province.
